After preparing the recipe ingredients, follow these steps to prepare the Pistachio Ghriba:

  1. Preheat the oven to 176°C.

  2. Mix the pistachios in a food processor until crumbly.

  3. In a large bowl, mix the pistachio crumbs with the granulated sugar and baking powder.

  4. Add to the dry ingredients rose water and egg yolk.

  5. Cut the butter with your hands or a knife and start preparing the dough.

  6. Mix all the ingredients well using your hands until the dough becomes a little sticky.

  7. Make small balls out of your hands with your hands.

  8. Cover a baking tray with butter paper.

  9. Dust the Ghraybeh balls with powdered sugar and place them on the butter paper.

  10. Place the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or in the freezer for 10 minutes.

  11. Arrange the pistachio Ghraybeh balls on the parchment paper in the baking tray.

  12. Gently place the pistachio kernels on the surface of each one, do not flatten the Ghraybeh balls so that their shape does not change.

  13. Bake for 10-12 minutes, the Ghraybeh balls should still be pale in color.

  14. Leave the Ghraybeh balls on the baking tray for 5-10 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack.
