To prepare the kofta balls, put the meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, flour, and egg in a large bowl.

Season with salt, black pepper and cinnamon.

Mix until the ingredients are well combined, then form the mixture into medium-sized balls.

Heat the oil in a saucepan over a medium heat and stir in the meatballs until browned on all sides.

Remove the balls from the pot, add the onion and garlic to the same pot, and stir until the ingredients wilt.

Add tomatoes and season with salt and black pepper.

Dissolve the tomato paste in half of the water and pour the mixture over the saucepan.
